Modular Home Permit Requirements

 

You will need to bring two sets of certified foundation plans with your Baker County Permit Application which you can download from this site.

State certified contractors will also need to furnish their current state license and occupation license from contractor's office, liability insurance and worker's compensation, as well as a check for the $50 filing fee need to be made out to:

Please have the Contractor's Name, not just the Company Name on the certificate. If exempt a "Workman's Comp Exemption Form" will be needed.

Other Permits Needed Include
- Electrical Permit: $73.00 -
- Mechanical Permit: $56.00 -
- Plumbing Permit: $22.00 -
Fees Associated With Modular Homes
- Permit Fee: (Based on Footage) -
- Impact Fee: $2,592 -

Registered contractors need to review the information here and furnish the listed information in order to get a Competency Card($35.00)

If anyone other than the contractor is to pull the permit, an original, signed and notarized Power of Attorney needs to be provided.

After submitting the required information, there is usually a ten day waiting/review period before the permit is issued.

 Only after all inspections have passed, will a Certificate of Occupancy be issued.
