School Resource consists of two full time deputy sheriffs. Currently one deputy sheriff is assigned to Keller
Intermediate School (KIS) and Baker County Middle School (BCMS). The other is assignd to Baker County High School (BCHS)
The BCMS position is currently funded through a partnership grant with the Department of Juvenile Justice. The Baker
County School District is currently providing partial funding for the KIS and BCHS positions. In addition to the
officers' school day activities they also provide a multitude of service hours at athletic and extracurricular school events.
